Rue 57 is a real culinary highlight! The service is attentive and professional without being intrusive, and the elegant yet relaxed ambience invites you to linger. We had two burgers and a Caesar salad, and both dishes were simply outstanding. The burger was prepared with excellent meat, perfectly seasoned and served in a freshly baked bun - simply a delight! The Caesar Salad was also top notch: crisp romaine lettuce and crunchy croutons, which together provided a balanced, flavorful experience. Rue 57 offers a fantastic combination of quality, service and atmosphere - definitely a place not to be missed when visiting New York. Absolutely recommended!
We ate at a lot of restaurants in New York City over the holidays, but this was probably my favorite! I love French cuisine and they do a magnificent job. The service was top-notch and the food was excellent. Really loved the romantic atmosphere highly recommend and I will return!
Rue 57 was a nice experience. The ambiance was what you would expect from an upper scale restaurant and the service was great. Our server made us feel right at home. He had great recommendations which is how I ended up with the ahi tuna dinner. It was refreshing and light, yet still filling. My partner enjoyed the chicken dinner with the kale salad. It was nice to have healthier options that didn’t break the bank. I sipped on a 10 year port and my partner had a whiskey drink. Both were delicious :) Rating this a 4/5 because it was good and definitely a nicer scale dinner but it didn’t blow my mind. Again, still a great place to go if you want a nice dinner with amazing service!
Arrived early for Chicago performance at Carnegie Hall. Decided to grab a quick bite here with 2 classy gals. Nice dimly lit venue with cozy setting. Seated at a comfortable table with leather lounge seats. Ideal for an endless night of wine & witty banter. The salmon had a crunchy crust with a tender sweetness. The truffle pasta was rich in texture & flavor. We agreed the mussels dijonnaise had the most exquisite taste of the 3. A great venue to either begin or end a spectacular evening in the city

Great service at the bar. The perfect old fashion curated by Jose. We stopped in after breakfast and strolling the city. Would definitely start here first next time. Looking at the food coming out for other patrons I would say the food is good. Service is fast and efficient. A must stop for us!
